Trio has completed a 15-hole, 2477 m, Phase I drill program on its 35
km2 San Ramon property located 45 km west of Copiapo, Chile. Trio's
drill results confirm the discovery of IOCG mineralization with
high-grade copper intercepts on the San Ramon property. Results from 9
of the 15 holes were released on June 13th, 2005. Results from the last
6 holes have been received from ALS Chemex, La Serena, Chile. These six
holes were drilled on the San Ramon (holes #12, 13, 14), Paulina (#8,
9) and Lorenzo (#15) structures. A report on Phase I drill results will
soon be available on Trio's website.

A grade of 1.00% Cu corresponds to 20lb /ton, 10kg/Tonne copper.
San
Ramon is located 55km northwest of Phelps Dodge's Candelaria Mine which
is one of the largest Iron-Oxide-Copper-Gold (IOCG) deposits in Chile,
hosting 470MT grading 0.95% Cu and 0.2 gm/T Au.
All holes drilled at San Ramon penetrated mineralized
hematitic-potassic alteration characteristic of IOCG mineralization.
The Carmen structure is an IOCG-mineralized shear zone traced by
drilling for a distance of 600m, a true width of 26m, a depth of 170m,
and a weighted average grade of 0.56% Cu and 0.45 gm/T Au. Within this
is a 330m long, 18m wide zone grading 0.97% Cu and 0.62 gm/T Au. The
IOCG mineralization is open at depth and on strike.
The Carmen shear includes a high-grade breccia, which is 270m
long, 2.9m in true width, and grades 3.83% Cu, 1.49 gm/T Au and 0.08%
Co. This includes intercepts as high as 19.4% Cu across 1.0m true and
5.4% over 4.6m true. This zone is open at depth.
The San Ramon, Paulina and Lorenzo structures splay off the
Carmen shear. They are similarly altered, with grades reaching up to
3.03% Cu and 0.51 gm/T Au across 17.0m (incl. 5.4m grading 8.48% Cu).
Management believes that these results warrant further
drilling at depth and on strike. Trio's drilling was concentrated on
exposed mineralization located between two large sand-covered
chargeability anomalies. These anomalies, which are 2,900m x 1,000m and
800m x 800m in size, may represent buried IOCG mineralization, and it
is Trio's intent to drill-test these large anomalies.
